Spam: DOMAIN SERVICE

Es kann passieren, dass man als Webseitenbetreiber eine Spam-Mail bekommt, die einen darauf hinweist, dass angeblich die Registrierung der gebuchten Domain ausläuft und man die Registrierung verlängern sollte, um den Domainnamen nicht zu verlieren. Das ist natürlich Unsinn, insbesondere, wenn so eine Post nicht vom eigenen Webhoster, sondern von einem unbekannten, vielleicht sogar ausländischen Absender kommt.

2017 hatte ich mal so was erhalten, bloß hatte ich nicht darüber geschrieben und möchte das jetzt nachholen. Wie auch immer: auf gar keinen Fall antworten und schon gar nicht irgendwas bezahlen! Man kann ja im Zweifelsfall lieber beim eigenen Webhoster nachfragen.
